Aihua Zhang

Prof. Aihua Zhang is a doctoral supervisor and Principal Investigator of Scientific Experiment Center, Hainan Medical University, China. He graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 2010 and worked there for 12 years to engage in scientific research. At 2022, he was recommended as Principal Investigator of Hainan Medical University. He was also elected as Academician of Europasche Akademie der Naturwissenschaften, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Fellow of International Association of Advanced Materials (FIAAM), Fellow of Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA), Fellow of Vebleo - Science, Engineering and Technology, Full Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society. He published over 300 scientific papers (H-index: 62) and has 11636 citations in the Scopus (update in April 13, 2023). He has written about 60 book chapters and 40 patent copyrights. His research interests mainly include the pharmacological sciences, natural product and biological function, and effect mechanism of herbal medicine, metabolomics, systems biology, etc. He presided over many projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has received numerous scientific awards, including the CHPHARS (China) - SERVIER (France) Investigator Awards in Pharmacology (2018), Innovative Talent Award of Chinese Society (2019), First Prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Society (2020), High-Impact Paper Award (2021), Vebleo Scientist Award (2023), Leibniz-Medal (2023), etc. He served as an official reviewer for more than 30 international journals and concurrently invited as review experts of European Science Foundation, Swiss National Science Foundation and National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was nominated as the ‘World’s Top 2% Scientists 2020-2021’ (by Stanford University), ‘Chinese Most Cited Researchers 2020-2022’ in Pharmaceutical Science (by Elsevier), and World Top Scientists (by Globalauthorid).
