Ren Qilong
Academician Ren Qilong was born in October 1965. He is a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Social and Basic Sciences, a senior engineer, a Ph.D., and the Chief Engineer at Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd. He is the chief expert and head of eight cross-industry research centers/bases, including the Automotive Metaverse Base and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Digital Research Center. He is recognized as a national leader in carbon neutrality, intelligent manufacturing, and enterprise management.
Ren serves as an expert in new energy and intelligent connected vehicles for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a committee expert for the Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee of the China Communications Industry Association, an executive director of the Sino-European Smart Connected Vehicles and Autonomous Driving Industry Innovation Alliance (SASD), an expert in automotive lightweighting for the China Automotive Engineering Society Lightweight Alliance, and a specially appointed expert at the Smart Logistics Technology and Equipment Development Promotion Center of the China Equipment Management Association. He is also a distinguished expert and contributing writer for one of China's top three logistics media platforms, "Blue Dolphin Truck Voice," and serves as an adjunct professor at Beijing Jiaotong University.
Ren was recognized as a 2022 Beijing Enterprise Innovation Talent, one of the 2023 national leaders in artisanal intelligent manufacturing (one of eight nationally), one of the Most Influential People of Chinese National Brands in 2023, a 2023 Economic Influence Figure, and a 2023 Innovation Leader. He received the title of "2021 Enterprise Training Leader" from China Training.
He has filed/granted over 10 national patents, published more than 30 academic papers, and authored or edited 2 monographs. He has received the SASD Sino-European Smart Automotive Technology Innovation Award and two first-place awards in the Beijing finals of the China Innovation Method Competition. He created the Lean Innovation Quintet series, a scientific method comprising 68 tools and 180,000 cases. Some of these methods won national championships in competitions such as the "National Instructor Competition" and "I Do Project Competition," earning three national championships, two King's Champion Awards, and one Best Original Premium Course Award. His coaching for 16 competition topics in the "2022 China Innovation Method Competition" resulted in two first-place awards, five second-place awards, nine third-place awards, and one excellent organization award in the Beijing finals.
Ren holds six professional certifications, including China Training Certified Senior Trainer, Registered International Senior Professional Trainer, Senior Corporate Trainer certified by the China Enterprise Confederation, Senior Training Coach certified by Lexun, MATRIZ Level 3 International Certification in Innovative Methods, and ISDT International Certification in Design Thinking. He has delivered nearly 5,000 hours of industry training and trained tens of thousands of professionals both online and offline, with a total of 180,000 students nationwide.
