Idris Gasimov

Restorer-Artist, Educator, PhD Candidate

Idris Gasimov was born on November 21, 2000, in Baku. In 2018, he was admitted to the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts and successfully completed his bachelor’s degree in 2022. That same year, he began his master’s studies at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, graduating with a master’s degree in 2024. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in Educational Administration at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University in Istanbul.

His academic and pedagogical activities focus on art and educational administration, creative pedagogical models, cultural heritage preservation, and interdisciplinary research at the intersection of art and science. His particular field of interest is “Artificial Intelligence in Art Education: The Impact of Creativity and Emotional Intelligence.” He has authored several scholarly articles and conducted research on this subject, presenting them at international forums and contributing to the development of innovative frameworks for contemporary pedagogical approaches.

Since 2024, Idris Gasimov has been working as a restorer-artist at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art, where he has restored more than 200 works of historical and artistic value. At the same time, he lectures at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, teaching restoration technologies, cultural heritage preservation, and modern pedagogical approaches.

He has also participated in numerous international exhibitions and projects organized by UNESCO, and his academic presentations in Italy, Turkey, and other countries have been received with great interest. He is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, as well as the European Academy of Natural Sciences (EANW) based in Hanover, Germany.

As both an artist and educator, his work is multifaceted, encompassing cultural and artistic institution management, interdisciplinary educational models, visual culture, artificial intelligence and the psychology of creativity, as well as the conservation of artworks. His research has made a significant contribution to the education of younger generations and the advancement of international academic exchange.

He is fluent in Azerbaijani, Turkish, and English.

Currently, Idris Gasimov continues to expand his academic and artistic activities internationally, serving the development of intercultural cooperation.
