Fan Guanghui
Fan Guanghui, Chief Physician, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Civilian Technical Second-Level Expert, and Shenzhen Dragon Talent Class A Expert. Currently serves as a blind review expert for master's and doctoral theses under the Ministry of Education, an online evaluation expert for the Science and Technology Progress Award in 13 provinces including Guangdong and Zhejiang, and a master's and doctoral supervisor at Southern Medical University, Shenzhen University, and Hubei University of Chinese Medicine. He holds positions as the Vice President of the Chinese Society of Ethnic Medicine Distance Education, the Executive Director of the Chinese Research Hospital Society, and the Deputy Chairman of the First Committee of Translational Medicine under the National Science Committee, and is currently employed as a professor at Shenzhen University. He has previously served as the Deputy Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Cardiovascular Disease Rehabilitation Professional Committee and the Vice President of the Hubei Provincial Society of Prevention and Health Management. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases using both traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and leads research in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, new medical equipment, and new medicinal materials. He has successfully developed two types of hemostatic dressings for both peacetime and wartime use, two new drugs, and two styles of first aid kits. The kaolin bamboo fiber hemostatic dressing has been used in over five million pieces at the frontlines of the military conflicts in Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine, saving the lives of civilians and wounded soldiers on the brink of death.
Professor Fan has dedicated over 40 years to clinical cardiovascular disease and major medical emergency organization work, undertaken 9 major national scientific research innovation projects, authored 2 monographs including "Theoretical Medicine," published 133 academic papers, and obtained 35 patents. He has trained 43 medical masters and doctors (including post-doctorates). He has been awarded a first-class prize in Science and Technology Progress (2020) for key hemostasis technology and equipment for peacetime and wartime traffic injuries; a first-class prize for China's Industry-University-Research Technology Innovation; five second-class provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards; and has been recognized as an outstanding creator by China's Trustworthy Hospitals. He received the Most Investment-Worthy Award at the 9th China Medical Industry Innovation Contest in 2023.
