Chen Hao

Chen Hao, born in October 1985, member of Jiusan Society, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Offshore oil and gas Engineering, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). In 2013-2014, he went to the University of Texas at Austin for doctoral joint training. He is a director of Beijing Energy and Environment Society, a member of the Expert Committee of China Energy Society, a think tank expert of the Carbon Neutral Special Committee of China Petroleum Society, an evaluation expert in National Natural Science Foundation, Innovation Fund and Science & Technology Award of CNPC, and a young editorial board member of more than 10 journals such as the national leading journal Petroleum Science.

Chen Hao has long been engaged in research on oil and gas seepage theory and application, CO2 resource utilization and geological storage. He has presided over more than 50 vertical and horizontal projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation project, the Youth project, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation Project, and established the intelligent regulation theory and technology of CO2 injection miscible flooding in continental reservoirs. As the first or corresponding author, he published more than 80 papers in high-level journals such as EST, Applied Energy, CEJ, Energy, Fuel, Petroleum Science, Scientific Bulletin, petroleum exploration and development, among which more than 60 papers were retrieved by SCI, and 1 English monograph was published. More than 20 invention patents were authorized, 4 software Copyrights were registered, and 3 national and energy industry standards were revised/compiled. He won the Humboldt Medal of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, SPE Star Fellowship of the International Society of Petroleum Engineers, the First Chinese Marine Power Young Scientist Nomination Award, the Green Mine Youth Science and Technology Award and the first Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress in Basic research category (ranked first), and the second prize of scientific and technological Progress of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (ranked first). China Invention Association Invention Entrepreneur Award, China Energy Research Society Outstanding Young Scientist Award, ECF Energy Technology Innovation Award - Environmental Protection, Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Technology Innovation Award (ranked first), As well as China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association Youth Outstanding Scientific and Technological Contribution Award, scientific and technological progress first prize (ranked third), second prize (ranked first) and excellent scientific and technological paper second prize (both ranked first), to make contributions to the improvement of CO2 injection enhanced oil recovery theory and technical progress.
