Atamoglanova Ilakha Bakhadur gyzy was born in 1982 in the Khachmaz District. She received her primary education at Secondary School No. 244 in the Binagadi District of Baku. In 1999, she entered the Faculty of Linguistics at the University of Languages.

Her artistic abilities became evident in childhood. During her school years, she actively participated in preparing wall newspapers and class newspapers for school events. She also hosted many school events and took an active part in organizing them.

While at school, she repeatedly participated in chess competitions and won second place in an interschool chess tournament in the Binagadi District.

In 2000, she married and lived for many years in Saint Petersburg and Ukraine. In 2019, she began to engage in painting more professionally and to study its subtleties in depth. For four years, she attended Artlife courses under the guidance of professional teacher Elkhan Aghayev and was awarded a diploma.

On 9 March 2023, she took part in the exhibition entitled “Feelings and Paintings”.

On 17 May 2024, she participated in the project “Talented Woman”, organized by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the European Academy of Natural Sciences and the organization “Sərgi Baku”.

From 16 April to 5 May 2023, she participated in the exhibition “Young Azerbaijan in Prague”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, which was held in Prague.

On 7 March 2026, she took part in the exhibition “The Mysterious World of Woman” at the Gallery of Painting of the Turkic World and received an award from the Heritage Centre, a branch of the European Academy of Natural Sciences, represented by Professor Solmaz Amanova, author of children’s books, and Academician Aynur Sakitgyzy, Head of the Centre’s Department of Arts.

In her creative work, she most often turns to historical subjects. Her paintings feature images of strong women, including Khurshidbanu Natavan, representing a synthesis of the past and the future, Tomyris, a woman of strong character, and Shahzade Siberia, the Princess of Jerusalem.
